Privacy Policy

• Account data, your name, email address, password (stored only as a hash), and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile basics.
• Project data, the domains, URLs, keywords and competitors you choose to audit, and the reports and results generated from them.
• Billing data, plan, credit balance and transaction records. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage & technical data: IP address, browser and device type, log data and actions taken in the product, used to operate and secure the Service.

We use your information to provide and operate the Service, run audits and crawl the domains you add, deliver reports, rankings and monitoring, meter usage credits, process payments, authenticate you, communicate about your account, and secure, troubleshoot and improve the product. We process this data to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running the Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to deliver the Service, including:

• cloud hosting and database infrastructure;
• SEO and SERP data providers used to return rankings, backlinks, keyword and traffic metrics;
• AI providers used to generate AI-visibility, citation and content-optimization results;
• a payment processor for subscriptions and credit purchases;
• an email delivery provider for transactional email;
• Google, where you use Google sign-in or Google-based features.

Some providers may process data outside your country; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

When you connect your Google account, SEO Roger requests read-only access to Google Search Console (auth/webmasters.readonly) and Google Analytics (auth/analytics.readonly). We use this access solely to display your own search-performance, keyword and traffic data inside SEO Roger and to generate the reports you request. We never write to your Google properties.

SEO Roger’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the features you request or as required by law. We store only an encrypted OAuth refresh token and your connected account’s email address. You can revoke access at any time from Settings → Integrations or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (secure, HttpOnly session cookies) and to operate the site. We do not use them to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser, though disabling essential cookies will prevent you from signing in.

We retain account and project data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account or request deletion, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it.

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and rate limiting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of material incidents as required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise many of these from your account settings, or contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law. See our GDPR page for details relevant to EU/UK residents.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate.
