While Rank Math or Yoast is active the plugin defers to them automatically and stays out of the way, then takes over the moment you deactivate the other plugin. Do I need the plugin to use SEO Roger with WordPress?
Not for analysis. Audits, rank tracking and every research tool work on any site regardless of platform, because they read your pages the way a search engine does. The plugin is what lets the dashboard write fixes back into WordPress instead of handing you a list to implement yourself.
Is it safe to apply changes to a live site?
Every change is recorded and individually reversible with one click, which is the main safeguard. As with any tool that writes to a live site, take a backup before a large bulk operation and review the first few changes before applying more.
What does it connect to?
