Search is changing faster than at any point in the last decade. More people are getting answers directly from AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google's AI Overviews, and fewer are clicking through a page of blue links. That shift raises a new question every site owner needs answered: when an AI engine answers a question in your space, does it mention you?
Today we are excited to introduce the AI Visibility suite, a set of ten tools built to answer exactly that. You will find it at /tools/ai-optimization.
Why we built this
Traditional SEO tools tell you how Google ranks your pages. They say nothing about whether an AI assistant will cite your content when someone asks a question. We kept hearing the same thing from customers: they could see their Google rankings but had no idea whether they existed in the AI answer layer at all. The AI Visibility suite closes that blind spot.
What is inside
The suite brings together ten features that work as a pipeline, from measurement to action.
1. Crawler matrix
See at a glance which AI crawlers, such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot, can currently access your site. You cannot be cited if you cannot be read, and many sites block these bots without realizing it.
2. llms.txt generator
Generate an llms.txt file that points AI crawlers to your most important content, then publish it at your site root.
3. Answer simulator
Simulate how an AI engine might answer a query using your content. It is an honest preview of where your coverage is strong and where it is thin.
4. Readiness score
Run any page through a readiness check that flags missing structured answers, weak topical depth, and absent schema, then gives you a clear score to improve.
5. Priority fixes
Instead of a vague list, get the specific, ranked changes most likely to improve your AI visibility.
6. Audit chat
Ask questions about your audit results in plain language and get direct answers about what to fix and why.
7. Crawl diff
See what changed between crawls so you can catch regressions and confirm improvements.
8. Citation tracker
The AI Citation Tracker shows whether AI engines are actually citing you for your target topics. It costs 3 credits per run because it queries multiple engines, and it is the closest thing to a scoreboard for the AI answer layer.
9 and 10. Readiness reporting and audit UX
Cleaner reporting and a refined audit experience tie the whole suite together so the data is easy to act on.
How to get started
- Open
/tools/ai-optimizationand run the readiness check on your top pages. - Use the crawler matrix to confirm AI bots can reach you.
- Generate and publish your llms.txt file.
- Work through the priority fixes, then re-check.
- Run the AI Citation Tracker to set a baseline you can measure against over time.
An honest word on expectations
AI visibility is new, and the engines change often. No tool can promise you a citation, and we will not pretend otherwise. What the AI Visibility suite gives you is clarity: a measurable readiness score, a view of who can crawl you, an honest preview of how you would be answered, and a way to track citations over time. That clarity is a real advantage, because most sites are flying blind here.
What is next
We are treating AI visibility as a long-term investment, not a one-time feature drop. Expect the crawler matrix to expand as new engines appear, the citation tracker to cover more engines, and the readiness scoring to sharpen as we learn what actually drives citations.
The AI Visibility suite is available now on all plans, with metered tools like the citation tracker spending credits according to your plan. Open /tools/ai-optimization and see how the AI answer layer sees your site today. Smarter SEO means seeing the whole search landscape, and that landscape now includes AI.
