What's new: Domain Overview gets deeper

Domain Overview has always been the fastest way to size up a site in SEO Roger: authority, traffic estimates, top keywords, and backlinks in a single credit. Today it gets a significant upgrade. We have added four new tabs, deeper backlink data, per-engine AI visibility, and drill-down details throughout, all powered by live DataForSEO data.

You will find it at /tools/domain-overview, and it still costs just one credit per run.

What changed

Four new tabs

Domain Overview now goes well beyond the summary numbers with four new views.

1. Top Pages. See which pages on any domain pull the most organic traffic, so you know exactly what content is working for a competitor.
2. Keyword Gap. Compare your keyword footprint against a competitor and find the terms they rank for that you do not. This is where new content ideas come from.
3. Position Changes. Track which keywords a domain has gained or lost recently, revealing momentum you would otherwise miss.
4. Branded. Separate branded from non-branded performance so you can judge true organic reach rather than people already searching for the name.

Deeper backlinks

The backlink data now goes deeper, giving you a richer picture of a domain's link profile so you can assess authority and spot link-building opportunities with more confidence.

Per-engine AI visibility

In keeping with the way search is evolving, Domain Overview now includes AI visibility broken out per engine. Instead of a single vague signal, you can see how a domain appears across different AI answer engines, connecting your classic SEO view with the AI answer layer.

Drill-down details everywhere

Every major section now has a View details drill-down. When a number raises a question, you can click straight into the underlying data rather than exporting to a spreadsheet to dig further.

Why the upgrade

A domain report is only as useful as the decisions it enables. The old summary was great for orientation but often left you asking a follow-up question the tool could not answer. The new tabs and drill-downs are designed to answer those follow-ups in the same view: not just "how big is this site" but "what exactly is winning, where am I behind, and what is gaining momentum."

A note on data

Domain Overview is powered by live DataForSEO data. That means the authority scores, traffic estimates, keywords, and backlinks reflect a real, funded data source rather than rough guesses. Estimates are still estimates, as they are with every SEO platform, but they come from a serious provider and update over time.

How to use the new Domain Overview

1. Open /tools/domain-overview and run a report on your own domain.
2. Check the summary, then open Top Pages to see what content drives your traffic.
3. Run a report on a competitor and open Keyword Gap to find terms to target.
4. Use Position Changes to spot who has momentum in your space.
5. Click View details anywhere a number prompts a question.
6. Review the per-engine AI visibility to connect your Google presence with the AI answer layer.
