How to delete your account
If you no longer need SEO Roger, you can delete your account. This guide explains what to consider and how to proceed.
Before you delete
Deleting your account is permanent. Consider these steps first:
- Export or download any reports you want to keep. Your Analysis History and saved runs will be removed.
- Cancel your subscription if you're on a paid plan, and review your final invoice in Billing.
- Disconnect integrations like Search Console, GA4, and WordPress if you want to revoke access proactively.
Alternatives to deleting
If you're leaving to cut costs, you don't have to delete your account. You can instead:
- Downgrade to the Free plan and keep 50 credits per month.
- Cancel your subscription while keeping the account and its history.
How to delete your account
- Open your account menu and go to Settings.
- Find the Delete account (or Close account) option, usually near the bottom of account settings.
- Read the confirmation notice carefully.
- Confirm the deletion, entering your password if prompted.
Because account deletion is a permanent, irreversible action, SEO Roger asks you to confirm before it proceeds.
What happens next
- Your account, reports, and history are removed.
- Any active subscription is ended.
- OAuth access for connected Google and WordPress integrations is revoked.
Need help?
If you can't find the delete option or want to confirm exactly what will be removed, contact support through the help center. The team can walk you through it and answer questions about data removal.
Reconsidering later
Once deleted, your account can't be recovered. If you think you might return, downgrading to Free is a safer choice than full deletion.
