Simulating what an AI would quote from your page
What it does
The AI Answer Simulator shows you what an AI answer engine would likely quote from a given page. You provide a URL and a question, and SEO Roger uses Claude AI to model how an engine would read your content and extract an answer, then shows the passages it would pull. It is like previewing your snippet in an AI answer before the real engines get there.
How to use it
- Open Tools > AI Answer Simulator.
- Enter the URL of the page you want to test.
- Type the Question a user might ask that this page should answer.
- Click Simulate.
- Read the simulated answer and the highlighted source passages it drew from.
Reading the results
The simulator returns a generated answer alongside the specific passages it lifted from your page. If those passages are clear, accurate, and on-message, your page is well-positioned to be cited. If the answer is vague, pulls the wrong section, or misses the point, that tells you the content needs a more direct answer, better structure, or clearer facts near the top.
Use it as a fast edit loop: revise the page, resimulate, and repeat until the engine consistently quotes the passage you want. Then confirm real-world impact with the AI Citation Tracker. Remember that outputs vary between runs, so test a few times.
