Page Authority
See how much link authority a page actually carries.
Score up to 50 URLs at once for page and domain authority on a familiar 0-100 scale, with backlink and referring-domain counts beside each one. The score comes from live backlink rank data, and a URL with no rank data is reported as unknown rather than as a zero.

What is Page Authority?
Page Authority scores how much link strength a single URL carries, on a 0-100 scale, alongside the authority of the domain it sits on and the backlink and referring-domain counts behind both. SEO Roger scores up to 50 URLs in one run for 4 credits, so checking a whole template or a shortlist of link targets costs the same as checking one.

Why Page Authority matters
Two pages on the same site rarely carry the same weight, and the difference decides where a new internal link is worth spending. Authority tells you which of your pages can actually pass strength to a page that needs it, and which prospect is worth the outreach email. It is a comparison tool: the number matters far less than the gap between two numbers.
Search is no longer only Google. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude answer a growing share of queries by reading the same pages crawlers do, then citing a handful of sources. SEO Roger keeps both audiences in view: the classic SERP and the AI answer, from one workspace.
Who it's for

- Agencies and consultants producing client-ready findings, fast
- Founders and marketers who want the fix, not just the metric
Page Authority in depth
Where the score comes from, and what it is not
The score is derived from live backlink rank data, expressed on a 0-1000 internal scale and normalised to the familiar 0-100 range. It is not Moz's Domain Authority or Page Authority, and it will not match them number for number. Anyone comparing the two directly will find they disagree, which is expected: every authority metric is one vendor's model of the same underlying link graph. Use it to compare pages against each other within one report, not to hit a number somebody else quoted.
A missing score is reported as unknown, never as zero
When there is no rank data for a URL, the report says so rather than printing a confident 0. This matters more than it sounds: a zero reads as a measured verdict that a page has no authority at all, when the truth is that nothing is known about it yet. Treating absent data as a bad result is how teams end up rebuilding a page that was never the problem.
Reading page authority against domain authority
The two numbers together say more than either alone. A strong page on a weak domain usually means one piece of content earned links on its own merit, and it is a good candidate to link out from. A weak page on a strong domain is the common case for anything new, and it is the argument for pointing internal links at it. A gap in either direction is a prompt, not a verdict.
Batching is the point
The run is billed per batch rather than per URL, so the sensible use is a list: every page in a template, every URL you are considering for outreach, or your own top pages next to the competitor URLs that outrank them. Fifty at once costs what one costs, and comparing across a set is the only way the numbers become useful.
Page Authority questions, answered
What is Page Authority?
Page Authority is a 0-100 score for how much link strength a single URL carries, shown next to its domain's authority and the backlink and referring-domain counts behind them. SEO Roger scores up to 50 URLs per run so you can compare a set rather than a single page.
Is this the same as Moz DA and PA?
No. The score is built from live backlink rank data and normalised to a 0-100 scale, so it is familiar to read but it is not Moz's metric and will not match it number for number. Every authority score is one vendor's model of the same link graph. Compare pages against each other inside one report rather than against a figure from another tool.
How much does Page Authority cost?
4 credits per run, and a run covers up to 50 URLs, so it is 4 credits whether you check one page or fifty. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance and you can top up without changing plan.
Why does a URL show no score?
Because there is no rank data for it. SEO Roger reports that as unknown rather than as a zero, since a zero would read as a measured finding that the page has no authority when in fact nothing is known about it. New pages and pages with no links are the usual cases.
How do I use the score to decide anything?
Read it as a comparison. A strong page on a weaker domain is a good place to link out from. A weak page on a strong domain is a good place to point internal links at. For outreach, rank prospects against each other rather than against a threshold, since the absolute number depends on the model rather than on any rule Google publishes.
Can I improve page authority directly?
Not directly, and any tool promising otherwise is selling something. The score moves when the page earns links from pages that themselves have links. Publishing something worth citing, then pointing relevant internal links at it, is the whole mechanism. There is no setting to change.
