Competitor Comparison
What it does
Competitor Comparison puts your domain side by side with up to several competitors so you can see where you lead and where you trail. SEO Roger pulls each domain's organic traffic, keyword count, authority, and backlink totals from DataForSEO, then Claude AI summarizes the biggest gaps and quickest wins.
How to use it
- Open Tools > Competitor Comparison.
- Enter your Primary domain in the first field.
- Add one or more Competitor domains in the remaining fields.
- Set the Location and Language to match your target market.
- Click Compare.
- Review the comparison table and the shared-keyword overlap chart.
Reading the results
The comparison table ranks each domain across the core metrics, with your site highlighted. Green cells mean you lead on that metric; a rival highlighted means they are ahead. Focus on metrics where a competitor leads by a wide margin, as those point to your biggest opportunities.
The Keyword overlap section shows terms your competitors rank for that you do not, which is a ready-made content and targeting shortlist. The AI summary at the top calls out the single most important gap so you know where to start.
Credits
A Competitor Comparison report costs 1 credit regardless of how many competitors you add. Reopening it later from Analysis History is free.
