Domain Overview
What it does
Domain Overview gives you a single-screen snapshot of any website's SEO health. Enter a domain and SEO Roger pulls its estimated organic traffic, ranking keyword count, authority score, backlink totals, and top pages. Data comes from DataForSEO, and Claude AI adds a short plain-English summary so you can understand the numbers without being an analyst.
Use it to size up a prospect, benchmark a competitor, or check your own domain before and after a campaign.
How to use it
- Open Tools > Domain Overview.
- Type a domain (for example
example.com) into the Domain field. Leave offhttp://and paths. - Choose a Location and Language if you want country-specific data.
- Click Run analysis.
- Wait a few seconds while the report builds, then explore the tabs: Overview, Top pages, Keyword gap, Position changes, and Branded.
Reading the results
Start with the top metric cards: Organic traffic (estimated monthly visits from search), Keywords (how many terms the domain ranks for), and Authority (a 0-100 strength score). Rising traffic with a growing keyword count is a healthy sign.
The Top pages tab shows which URLs drive the most traffic; the Keyword gap and Position changes tabs reveal opportunities and recent movement. Use View details links in any section to drill into the underlying keyword and backlink data. Every report is saved to your Analysis History, so you can reopen it later or compare two dates.

Running a Domain Overview report costs 1 credit per analysis. Reopening a saved report from your history is free.
