Social Markup
What it does
Social Markup creates the Open Graph and Twitter Card meta tags that control how your pages appear when shared on social networks and messaging apps. Fill in a title, description, and image and SEO Roger produces ready-to-paste tags plus a preview of the resulting share card, so links to your site look polished everywhere they are posted.
How to use it
- Open Tools > Social Markup.
- Enter the page URL, Title, and Description.
- Add an Image URL for the share preview.
- Choose the Card type, such as a large summary image.
- Review the live preview for Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
- Click Copy tags and paste them into your page's
<head>.
Reading the results
The preview panel renders your share card the way major platforms will display it, so you can catch a missing image, an awkward crop, or a description that gets cut off before you publish. Images that meet the recommended dimensions display crisply; undersized images may be rejected or shown small.
The generated tag block includes both Open Graph (og:) and Twitter Card (twitter:) tags so a single paste covers all major platforms. Update the image and copy whenever a page's messaging changes.
Credits
Social Markup is free and does not consume credits.
