What is PagePro Analyzer?
PagePro Analyzer is a complete on-page audit of a single URL. It fetches the page, grades every on-page signal that search engines and AI answer engines read, from title and meta through heading structure, internal links, images, canonicals and structured data, and returns an overall score with the specific threats and recommendations behind it. It is free on every plan.
How to use PagePro Analyzer
From signup to shipped fix, this is the whole loop.
- 1Create a free accountSign up in under a minute. No credit card is required, and your first site scan works without an account at all.
- 2Point PagePro Analyzer at your siteEnter the URL or domain you want to analyze. You can run it on your own site or on a competitor's.
- 3Let it pull the live dataPagePro Analyzer fetches the current state of the page or domain and runs its checks. Most runs finish in seconds.
- 4Read the ranked findingsResults come back ordered by impact rather than by count, so the issue costing you the most traffic is at the top, not buried under cosmetic warnings.
- 5Ship the fix, then re-runApply the recommended change, or let Roger AI draft it for you, then run the tool again to confirm the issue is resolved and track the improvement.
Why PagePro Analyzer matters
Site-wide crawls tell you which pages have problems. They are deliberately shallow per page, because depth times thousands of URLs is unaffordable. When you have identified the page that matters, a landing page you are about to promote, or an article that used to rank and no longer does, you need the opposite: everything about one URL. That is the gap this fills.
Search is no longer only Google. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude answer a growing share of queries by reading the same pages crawlers do, then citing a handful of sources. SEO Roger keeps both audiences in view: the classic SERP and the AI answer, from one workspace.
Who it's for
- In-house SEOs who need technical health and crawlability without stitching three tools together
- Agencies and consultants producing client-ready findings, fast
- Founders and marketers who want the fix, not just the metric
PagePro Analyzer in depth
What a single-page audit sees that a crawl does not
A crawl checks whether a title exists. A page audit asks whether the title earns the click, whether it matches the H1, whether the first hundred words actually answer the query the title promises, whether the internal links point somewhere useful, and whether the structured data describes what is genuinely on the page. Those are judgment calls that only pay for themselves on pages you care about, which is exactly when you would run this.
Reading the score without being ruled by it
The overall score is a way to compare a page against itself over time, not a target to maximize. A page can score in the eighties and rank first because it answers the question better than anything else, and a page can score in the high nineties and rank nowhere because nobody is searching for it. Use the score to spot regressions after a redesign, and use the individual threats to decide what to actually do.
Threats are ordered by consequence
Findings are separated by what they cost you. A noindex tag or a canonical pointing at another page can remove the URL from search entirely, so those come first. A missing meta description costs you click-through on a result that still ranks. A handful of images without alt text costs you a little accessibility and a little image search. Grouping them this way stops a long list of cosmetic items from burying the one issue that is actually removing you from the index.
The natural workflow
Most people arrive here from somewhere else. You run a Full Site Audit, see that a template has a problem, and open one representative page here to understand it properly. Or a page drops in Rank Tracker and you want to know what changed. Running this in isolation is fine, but it is most useful as the second step after something broader has told you where to look.
PagePro Analyzer questions, answered
How is this different from the Full Site Audit?
Scope, and therefore depth. The Full Site Audit crawls up to your plan's page limit and grades the site as a whole, which necessarily means a lighter touch per URL. PagePro Analyzer looks at one URL exhaustively. Use the audit to find the problem pages and this to understand a specific one.
Does it cost credits?
No. PagePro Analyzer is free on every plan, including free-forever, because it fetches and parses the page on our own infrastructure without calling a paid data provider.
Can I analyze a competitor's page?
Yes. The tool works on any publicly reachable URL, and running it against the page currently outranking you is one of the more useful things you can do with it. You will see how they have structured headings, what schema they publish and how they have handled internal linking, all of which is public information visible in the page source.
It flagged something I disagree with. Is it wrong?
Possibly. On-page analysis applies general rules, and general rules have exceptions. A deliberately short page for a simple query is not automatically thin, and a missing H2 on a landing page designed as a single statement is not automatically a problem. Treat findings as informed prompts rather than commands, and ignore the ones that do not apply to what the page is for.
Will fixing everything here make the page rank?
It removes the on-page reasons the page cannot rank, which is not the same thing. On-page work is necessary but rarely sufficient. If the page is competing against stronger, better-linked pages that answer the query more completely, a clean on-page audit will not close that gap on its own. It clears the obstacles so the content and links can do their job.
How often should I run it?
On important pages, before you publish and again after any template or redesign change. Redesigns are where on-page signals quietly break, because heading structure and internal links are exactly the things a visual refresh tends to rearrange without anyone thinking about search.
