How to connect Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Connecting Google Analytics 4 (GA4) brings your traffic and engagement data into SEO Roger, giving your reports fuller context.
Before you start
- You need a Google account with access to the GA4 property for your site.
- Make sure GA4 is already collecting data for the site you want to analyze.
Connect GA4
- Go to Settings and open Integrations.
- Find and click .
Choose your property
If you have multiple GA4 properties, select the one you want SEO Roger to use. You can change this later from the Integrations screen.
What GA4 adds
Once connected, SEO Roger can surface:
- Sessions, users, and engagement trends.
- Traffic context that complements Search Console and audit data.
- Richer analytics inside supported reports.
Search Console and GA4 together
For the most complete picture, connect both Google Search Console and GA4. Search Console covers how you appear in search, while GA4 covers what visitors do once they arrive.
Troubleshooting
- "GA4 not connected" — reopen Integrations and click Connect, then finish the OAuth flow.
- No data appearing? Confirm the correct GA4 property is selected and that it has recent data.
- "Reconnect Google" — tokens expire periodically; click Connect again to refresh access.
Privacy
SEO Roger requests read-only access and only pulls the analytics data needed for your reports. Disconnect any time from Integrations to revoke access.
