How to install the SEO Roger Chrome extension
The SEO Roger Chrome extension lets you run quick SEO checks on any page you're viewing, without switching tabs back to the dashboard.
What the extension does
While you browse, the extension gives you fast on-page insights such as titles, meta tags, headings, and other signals, so you can spot issues in context. It's styled to match SEO Roger and links back to your account.
Install from the Chrome Web Store
- Open the Chrome Web Store.
- Search for SEO Roger.
- Open the extension's listing and click Add to Chrome.
- Confirm by clicking Add extension in the prompt.
Pin and sign in
- Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar.
- Pin SEO Roger so it stays visible.
- Click the SEO Roger icon and sign in with your account if prompted.
Using the extension
- Navigate to any web page you want to check.
- Click the SEO Roger icon.
- Review the on-page signals shown in the popup.
Troubleshooting
- Not seeing the icon? Make sure the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions and pinned to the toolbar.
- Data not loading? Refresh the page, then reopen the extension. Some pages restrict extensions (for example, browser settings pages).
- Need to sign in again? Open the extension and log in with your SEO Roger credentials or Google sign-in.
Keeping it updated
Chrome usually updates extensions automatically. If you suspect an outdated version, remove and reinstall it from the Chrome Web Store to get the latest release.
The extension is a handy companion for quick checks, while the full dashboard remains the home for audits, reports, and remediation.
