Connecting WordPress unlocks SEO Roger's one-click remediation, letting you fix many audit issues without editing code by hand.
What the WordPress integration does
Once connected, SEO Roger can scan your WordPress site and apply fixes such as:
- Updating meta titles and descriptions.
- Adding or adjusting schema markup.
- Managing redirects and noindex settings.
- Applying bulk fixes and AI-drafted content improvements.
Many changes can be undone, and you can schedule ongoing monitoring so new issues get flagged automatically.
How to connect
- Install the SEO Roger companion plugin on your WordPress site (see the separate installation guide).
- In SEO Roger, open Settings and go to .
Scan and apply fixes
- After connecting, run a scan from the WordPress area.
- Review the detected issues and recommended fixes.
- Apply fixes individually or in bulk.
- Use Undo if you want to revert a change.
Safety features
- Undo support lets you roll back changes.
- A noindex warning helps prevent accidental deindexing.
- Scheduled monitoring re-checks your site so problems don't pile up.
Troubleshooting
- Can't connect? Confirm the companion plugin is installed and active, and that your connection key is correct.
- Changes not applying? Ensure the plugin has the permissions it needs and your site is reachable.
- Meta changes missing? Some meta edits rely on the companion plugin being active, so keep it enabled.
With WordPress connected, fixing audit issues becomes a click instead of a chore.
